Serving Southern New Jersey Since 1996
Lighthouse Hospice has been providing quality hospice care in New Jersey for 20 years. Lighthouse Hospice is accredited by the Community Health Accreditation Program (CHAP).Our organization is unique in both its hospice philosophy and practice and our highly-trained professionals and support personnel offer compassionate, quality care to patients, their families, and our healthcare partners. At Lighthouse, we take care of our patients as if they were our own family, we care deeply about them.
The Lighthouse clinical staff is committed to competency and compassion while providing efficient and effective support. With the successful attainment of national Board Certification in hospice and palliative care for more than two-thirds of eligible Lighthouse registered nurses and an equal number of its eligible Certified Home Health Aides, Lighthouse is able to offer true clinical service excellence to all of its patients. In addition, certification and/or advanced education in hospice administration, chaplaincy, bereavement counseling, social work and community outreach has been accomplished by Lighthouse Hospice professional personnel in each of these disciplines.
The Lighthouse program offers a pre-referral evaluation service to patients while they transition from curative modalities to palliative care. If, during the evaluation, the patient chooses hospice care, admission to the Lighthouse Hospice program can begin immediately.
